Soil Conservation Districts in North Dakota are classified as governmental subdivisions of the state. Our office is co-located with Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS), and Farm Service Agency (FSA), which are part of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). We work closely with agricultural producers, Grand Forks county, townships, cities in our district, schools, and local organizations.

We provide local leadership in the conservation of soil, water, and related natural resources through partnerships with individuals, businesses, organizations and government.
